Emeritus Professor Viviane Robinson’s 2018 book “Reduce Change To Increase Improvement” (Corwin Press) further expounds her theories about engaging those doing the work in the decision making about direction. Her explanations about what she calls the Engagement Theory are excellent and easy to follow. If you believe in empowering those whom you are leading, this book is for you. It’s 120 pages are easy reading. The processes she outlines for actually engaging people are extremely useful.
