This book is about Leadership style. Covey describes a spectrum of polar opposites in leadership for us and challenges us to make a choice about the best pathway. At one end, he places command and control systems where those in charge dictate and direct what happens with those below them getting told what to do, when to do it and how it needs to be done. At the other end is a state of empowerment, engagement and mutual trust.
