The 2026 QCPPA Conference at the Oaks Hotel Toowoomba was a truly resounding success, delivering powerful learning and very high engagement. The event brought principals together from every Diocese in Queensland to explore the theme of breaking boundaries for tomorrow.
Delegates were inspired by a lineup of insightful presenters, from Antarctic expedition leader Rachel Robertson and productivity expert Daniel Sih, to AI thought leader Professor Marek Kowalkiewicz and wilderness survivor Gina Chick. The sessions challenged attendees to embrace the future with hope and intuition.
Connection and social activities were a major highlight, including Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral, welcome drinks at the Cobb & Co Museum, and a vibrant ‘Boundary Breaking Fashion’ dinner.
It was also wonderful to see all five Daniel McDonough Award Recipients, one from every Diocese, in attendance. They received their hand-crafted trophies, made by the farrier at the Cobb & Co Museum, presented in a beautiful box made by the woodturner.
